This package is ideal for those starting with a blank canvas or wishing to re-design a whole garden.
Following on from our Initial Meeting, and you commissioning a full garden design, we will return to discuss your brief, what your desired outcomes are, any practical requirements, any specific design styles you like, and your budget; this is an important meeting and allows us to have a clear picture of your ideal garden.
Following on from this we conduct a Site Survey that includes measuring the garden, noting any existing features, views which may need to be disguised or enhanced and identifying any problem areas. This process can take up to two hours and it is invaluable to starting a design. Occasionally we may recommend using a specialist surveyor.
Following on from the site survey we start designing and planning your garden, resulting in a Concept Design showing your new garden layout, large structural planting, suggestions of materials to use and new features. We’ll arrange a meeting onsite with you and we can discuss your garden design, going through each area and understanding all of the design. This is the stage to make any changes, and refine the design. After this meeting design changes will be charged for separately.
Following on from this meeting we will make any adjustments or amendments. You will receive your drawings to include a Master Plan, a plan showing different areas in blocks (e.g. hard landscaping, planting, lawn) and a plan showing measurements. You will also receive a narrative and notes with your master plan.
Each design fee is in accordance with the overall project size - prices start from £400.
